unleashing potential

Vodafone

In 2005 Echelon was asked by Vodafone who had reviewed the Quality Improvement content sitting on learningmatters.com to develop and publish a bespoke continuous improvement site which could sit within their intranet.

The resulting process is a structured method for selecting, analysing and solving problems in a sequence of steps called DMAIC - Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. This set of improvement tools ensures Vodafone staff are able to identify the real problems within the organisation, implement the best possible solution(s), and demonstrate a consistent approach to problem-solving across the business.

That the content could be accessed via Vodafone’s intranet was down to the capabilities of Echelon’s IT developers who were able to redesign Vodafone’s learning management system so that the content could sit within it and be effectively searched and usage tracked.

The project illustrates certain of Echelon’s main business capabilities – the competence of designing content to match an organisation’s specific cultural needs, to author, or source some of that content from our established learning resource, and to customise bespoke software to ensure its successful adoption.
